Fueling broad-based prosperity
A collaboration between The Legatum Center at MIT and The MasterCard Foundation, the Zambezi Prize is seeks to cash prizes to leaders with the best ideas in the financial inclusion sector. Named after the fourth longest river in Africa, the Zambezi prize is awarded each year to companies and individuals that show innovation in areas such as electronic payment systems, customer-centers payment plans, and new financial products.
The design of the new site and brand was rooted in the African arts. Rich with color and texture, one of the challenges of this new site was to ensure that users in remote areas of the world had quick and easy access to the site on mobile devices as well as a fast and seamless application workflow.
