We’ve just released out first iPhone application for graphic designers and printing professionals.

onPress is the first iPhone app to help graphic designers and printing professionals streamline press checks. Taken from our internal checklist that we use on every press check, we thought it would be a good idea to share it with our fellow designers. Packed with a list of common items we watch for, onPress helps you make sure you check everything when you go on press. Tasks are grouped by category, and cover all critical areas. You can use it over and over again for every press sheet you need to approve. And when you’re done, you can share the app with others via the built-in social networking features.

To help market our new app, we also created a simple one page website where users can learn more and reach out to us via email and Twitter

Our proposed design for Alverno College utilizes a collapsible menu at the top of all interior pages to allow visitors to show/hide student profiles. The thinking is that the large “Your Power” profile feature on the home page will continue to live at the top of each interior page allowing the contents and the “Power” subject to change based on the page being viewed by visitors.
