Harvard School of Engineering & Applied Sciences Alumni Journal

Featured Project:

Harvard School of Engineering & Applied Sciences

Late last fall Alphabetica was hired by the Harvard University School of Engineering and Applied Sciences to design their Alumni newsletter. The communications team at the school wanted to shake things for up for readers and decided on dedicating each issue to one specific topic. In a sense, creating more of a journal than a typical Alumni newsletter.

Settling on the name Topics, we set out to design a simple and striking piece in a minimalist fashion based on the content of the first issue: Open Access. Going forward, with each issue based on a different topic, each issue will require a new interpretation of the content through design. All future issues will use new design elements and treatments while still adhering to the grid and structure of the first issue and the Schools visual language.
